DAV Jawahar Vidya Mandir situated in the planned township of MECON in Shyamali, Ranchi is one of the most prestigious
schools of Eastern India. With a strength of over 6000 students, it attracts students from many states of the country. I did
most of my schooling at this great place, a memorable journey from 4E in 1994 to 12C in 2001.
Memories of the school would always remain afresh with teachers like D R Singh sir, Saluja mam, Jamunalal sir, Anita
Verma mam, Shyma Yunus mam and all the other great teachers. Studies were their apart, mischiefs like bursting crackers around
Diwali were also great fun. The march past and drill on the Annual Day function were great experiences.
