Monitoring & Integrated Communication in Pipelines
|

Aimed
at detection and prevention of leaks in pipelines by studying the acoustics
of the fluid flowing and providing an alternate medium of transmission
of signals. It drew the attention of Chevron Texaco Overseas Petroleum,
California and Reliance Petroleum.

Infocomm. It takes the feed from a Video Transmitter connected to a
camera and counts no of persons moving in either directions at the location.

The
application is used for scoring in cricket matches. The score and its
analysis are made available on the intranet and any Java enabled mobile
phone. The software won the Third Prize in Open Software Contest, Synapse
2004, Annual Technical Festival of DA-IICT.

objective is to create a simulator for logic gates that allows hardware
circuits to be designed and tested. It would be used by the students
in the laboratories for the undergraduate courses on Digital Logic at
DA-IICT.

aimed at collecting weather information using One Wire Weather station
and TINI400. This information is uploaded on an ftp site using a mobile
phone as a modem. The power requirements of the system were satisfied
